5 bands we’re loving on Valentine’s Day

As Valentine’s Day rolls around once again, we thought we’d celebrate the music we’re loving at the moment.

Instead of hitting repeat on the cheesy love ballads or blasting out the single anthems, here are five bands that we reckon you should check out.

Lower Than Atlantis
Thanks to the release of their recent album ‘Safe In Sound’, we’ve fallen back in love with Lower Than Atlantis all over again. With a release packed back-to-back with top tunes that we can’t get enough of, the album has quickly made its way into our top releases of all-time. Of course, if you’re feeling loved-up, you can always check out new track ‘I Would‘, alongside old classic ‘Words Don’t Come Easily’.

Vant
After catching the band live at Electric Circus last year, it was love at first sight with Vant. Since then, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of the band’s debut album ‘Dumb Blood‘, due out on February 17th. We’re expecting big things from the band and with 2017 already including a range of festivals across the globe from New York’s Governors Ball to England’s Truck Festival, it seems the world is ready to fall in love with the indie rockers.

Be Charlotte
With her distinctive vocals and captivating live shows, we’ve been charmed by Be Charlotte since autumn 2016. Our infatuation has certainly grown and as the band’s year ahead already includes festival slots at Live at Leeds, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City and The Secret Garden Party, it seems they’re ready and set to win the heart of the UK.

Lany
It’s no secret we’re big fans of Lany at LMLL as the trio has stolen our hearts. With new UK dates next month, the trio has just finished recording their debut album in Nashville. As their chill out tunes have provided the soundtrack to many a day, we’re certainly swooning over the LA lads.

Amber Run
We’ve been smitten over Amber Run since their early days, first featuring the band in 2014. With their new album’s beautiful blend of poignant and powerful songs, sit back and treat yourself to their tracks.
