Album Review | The Vamps | Meet The Vamps Christmas edition

vamps christmasIt seems The Vamps have become everyone’s new favourite boy band.

Connected to McFly’s management, these four cheeky boys show similarities in both their music and fan base, and they’ve become an instant hit within the music industry, whacking out hit after hit.

After their debut album, Meet the Vamps, reached number two in the UK charts and the band played a sell-out tour at the end of this year, the boys have now released their own Christmas album for the festive season.

With classic Christmas hits including Jingle Bell Rock and Well I Wish It Could Be Christmas, the boys demonstrate everything we love about them with these cheesy Christmas songs made even cheesier with incredible vocals and of course, their ability to transform any song and make it in to their own.

Their version of Jingle Bells was indescribable. All I did was sit with a smile on my face as I pretended they were singing it to me while we decorated a freshly cut tree and drank mulled wine. In true Vamps form, it was upbeat, catchy, and truly fantastic.

Hoping For Snow is a Vamps original, as the boys debut their own Christmas song. My oh my, it’s bloody wonderful! Your heart melts as you hear lead singer, Brad’s gorgeous little voice and it gives the album a great turning point with the energy it needed.

It’s not quite like having Michael Buble stood in front of your log fire, serenading you to your heart’s content.

An album you ALL need this Christmas. Magical.
