Arctic Monkeys have been revealed as the first headliner for T in the Park 2014.

The band are the first name confirmed for next year’s festival which will take place from 11th to 13th July 2014.

Speaking of the announcement, the band said : “We are delighted to be playing T in the Park and look forward to a great night with our Scottish fans.”

If you’re looking to secure tickets ahead of the rest, 2014s tickets will be available at 2013 prices from 9am on Friday 22nd November.
