Dinosaur Pile-Up announce new single, album and video!

Following the success of ‘Birds And Planes’, Dinosaur Pile-Up are set to release new single ‘Mona Lisa’ digitally and as a 7” backed by B-side ‘Headspinner’ on 27th September.

This is just the week before the band’s highly anticipated debut album ‘Growing Pains’ drops, via indie label Friends Vs Records.

Vocalist / guitarist Matt Bigland spoke about the upcoming single;

“Mona Lisa is about having no money, no time, living on instant noodles, with no heating. I was sitting in my room surrounded by crap and just thought ‘Hey, this is kind of like trying to paint my ‘Mona Lisa’”

The band have also unveiled their new music video which sees the members of the band taking on various characters.

Several facts pertaining to the making of the video are as follows –
Bonus Fact 1: DPU made the bad guys’ costumes out of exercise balls and silver gaffa tape.
Bonus Fact 2: Matt’s giant head took 1.2 kilometers of plastic piping, 3,000 cable ties and a shit load of pink paper to make.
