Eden Festival 2016 line-up announcement

Eden FestivalUK Festival Award 2015 finalists Eden Festival have announced this year’s highly anticipated headliners.

This year’s festival will return to the Raehill Meadows of Dumfries on June 9th – 12th.

Trip-Hop legends Skye and Ross from Morcheeba will be this year’s headliners. They rose to fame in the 90s alongside Massive Attack and Portishead, and will bring their uniquely blissful and atmospheric sound to the festival.

King Charles is set to return to the festival after filling in for De La Soul as a headliner two years ago. The Psych-Pop maestro has recently had Top 3 chart success with his third album, ‘Gamble for a Rose’.

Ninja Tune’s Andreya Triana will also appear on the back of a spate of sell-out shows and a well received Bonobo-produced LP.

It will also be time to dust of those dancing shoes for the return of Craig Charles and his Funk and Soul Show and a guest spot from Mr Motivator.

Director Meredith Langley Vine said: “We are very excited about this first line up announcement, it’s more diverse and interesting than ever before, with so many talented artists, and there’s plenty more to come with lots of new music filling our smaller stages!”
