Eden Festival 2018 line-up announced

Let’s face it, we’re over winter and looking towards making our summer plans which preferably involves a festival or two…

Luckily for you, the folks at Eden Festival have announced the first acts to join them in the garden for their 10th birthday on June 7th-10th, and it certainly does not disappoint!

One the world’s biggest selling dance acts, Groove Armada are the first headliners to join the bill. Now nearly two decades on the electronic music scene, Andy Cato and Tom Findlay will be ‘Super Stylin’ the night away.

Joining them on the main stage is the genre-defying Submotion Orchestra who move seamlessly between deep electronica, jazz, soul and ambient downtempo. A show not be missed!

Peep Show fans will also recognise DJ Super Hans who has become a critically acclaimed DJ in his own right. He’ll bring big beats and a touch of nostalgia to the mix.

Set in the beautiful Raehill Meadows in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland the not-for-profit community run Eden Festival has become a legendary affair with eclectic line-ups, a family-friendly atmosphere and a garden of hidden delights to explore.

Also on the roster are Withered Hand, Mr B Gentleman Rhymer and Professor Elemental, Bez’s Acid House, Peatbog Faeries, Stanton Warriors, Talisk and of course the ultimate hangover buster, Mr Motivator!

Some of Eden’s favourite acts over the last 10 years will also be there, a welcome back to Colonel Mustard and Dijon 5 who started their festival career here, Cut Capers, Mungo’s HiFi,The Electric Swing Circus, The Langan Band and a special Afriqoui DJ set.

Britain’s official best part-time band Bombskare will also be playing a ska-riffic set and organisers have promised a whole host of new additions to the garden.

Director Meredith Langley Vine says, “This year is our 10th anniversary and it’s going to be a really special one, we’re excited to be inviting back some of the best acts that have played over the last decade”.

Tier two tickets are now available priced at £110 for an adult, £74 for a teenager, £20 for children between the ages of 5-12 years old, and under 5’s get in for free (all children must be accompanied by an adult). This year you can also purchase Eden Festival tickets in installments via their payment plan on their website.

With an expected attendance of 10,000 revelers, be sure to make this a top contender for your festival must-see list!
