Scotland’s second largest music festival Eden announces its first wave of acts for 2017.
This is the first of three line-up announcements from the organisers who promise this will be their biggest year yet!
Gogol Bordello, Alabama 3 and Alice Russell are all confirmed. They will perform alongside Horsemeat Disco, Dub Phizix & Strategy, Talisk, Eva Lazarus Soundsystem and ASBO Disco.
American Gypsy punk legends Gogol Bordello are best known for their blend of Gypsy-inspired music and stage shows with an element of the theatrical.
Meanwhile, Alabama 3 are all about the blues and playing around with a little acid house and techno.
Forget Adele, Edenites have the chance to see the British queen of soul Alice Russell – a powerful voice and a music force to be reckoned with.
Afterwards, the late night party will be supplied by Dub Phizix & Strategy who are known for their monstrous bass.
With over 300 acts set to appear over the weekend of 8th – 11th of June spread across 12 stages, there certainly will be something for everyone and all of the family to enjoy.
Co- Director Meredith Langley Vine said: “This year’s line-up is our strongest line up yet and we are very excited to be bringing such a legendary array of both current and classic acts to the festival. We have some very interesting and quite surprising acts to follow – we think you’re going to like it!”
