Edinburgh Summer Sessions headliners announced

The first headliners announced for Edinburgh’s brand new festival Edinburgh Summer Sessions have been announced.

Taking place during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the new festival in Princes Street Gardens will see shows take place at the Ross Bandstand in front of the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.

The first headliners have been unveiled as Tom Jones, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Paloma Faith and Kasabian with more acts set to be announced soon!

Speaking of the announcement, CEO of DF Concerts Geoff Ellis said: “We’re delighted to return to Princes Street Gardens and announce our first artists for the inaugural series of Edinburgh Summer Sessions shows. With the success of its sister event Glasgow Summer Sessions, we’re thrilled to be part of Edinburgh’s electrifying atmosphere and culturally rich arts festival with these gigs. To have a legend like Tom Jones plus mainstays of the industry like Kasabian and Paloma Faith and the undeniably talented Rag’n’Bone Man proves our commitment to making Edinburgh Summer Sessions one of the real highlights of the summer.”

The full dates for the announced shows are as follows:

AUGUST
Monday 6th – Tom Jones
Tuesday 14th – Rag ‘n’ Bone Man
Friday 17th – Paloma Faith
Saturday 18th – Kasabian

Ticket prices are as follows:
Tom Jones – General £55.00 – VIP £80
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man – General £37.50 – VIP £65
Paloma Faith – General £49.50 – VIP £75
Kasabian – General £49.50 – VIP £75

Tickets go on general sale on Friday February 23rd at 9am with all tickets subject to a booking fee.
