EP Review | Morain | Worlds Apart

MorainMorain”s latest release has had me dancing non-stop this Easter weekend.

Their Worlds Apart EP is a compilation of fun and adventure.

Opening with Who Would’ve Known, this EP reels-in explorers for a journey that will last more than three minutes and thirty-three seconds. It’s a playful addition to your playlist for the summer.

But as the EP settles in, Strangers bangs through the speakers with an incredible quest in search for the meaning of love and life. It’s like the skylines of the world’s most famous cities have burst into the scene, searching for a place where their love and their individual lives fit into the greater scheme of things.

As the EP begins to come to a close, Fighting With The Devil serenades the demons away from their hiding places in our minds. It takes a slower turn as the EP pulls you in close; it’s a song for a comrade taking the journey with you.

Alive closes the EP with the same epic nature that it started with. There’s a thrill that rushes through the system – both technologically and biologically – that leaves you exhilarated and looking for the next adrenaline high.

Overall, World’s Apart is the perfect EP to take into the summer. It has to be on your playlist for this spring to get you pumped for the festival season. I recommend it for every corner of your home, car and social networking.
