Produced by Alex Newport (Death Cab For Cutie, The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In), the album was recorded and mixed in New York and will mark the bands first full-length since 2008′s acclaimed ‘Intimacy’.
 
Along with this exciting news, the band have announced a string of European, US and festival appearances following a two-year absence from the stage, which will give fans the first opportunity to hear new material from their forthcoming album as well as those classic tracks from the band’s 10 year history. 

The triple CD album and download are full of great British music including 4 number 1’s, 14 top 5 and 25 top 20 singles from the last forty years.

Speaking of the release, Kelly says:
“This track almost didn’t make the album. It’s such a sad song and I have such a catalogue of sad songs, but I love it, it’s sweet sounding and I think a lot of people can relate to it because it’s about being vulnerable in a relationship.”

‘Cupid’ will be released on the same day as his new album ‘Turn On The Lights’.

The video features the warm-hearted story of a couple through the ages of their relationship with a summery beach backdrop– culminating in them renewing their wedding vows in their latter years on the very same beach where they met!

Taking place this Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend in Bristol (2nd June), Nottingham (3rd June) and Manchester (4th June), Dot to Dot has previously secured the rise of the likes of The xx, Mumford and Sons as well as Florence and the Machine – all enjoyed across some of Britain’s most influential cities for music. Venues such as Bristol’s Thekla, Nottingham’s Rock City and Manchester’s HMV Ritz are open throughout the day to showcase a variety of acts who are soon to find their big break.

In conjunction with Signature Brew, Professor Green has spent the last two months in intensive tasting sessions with his team and at brewery visits, in order to create his perfect beer.

Released on 4th June to coincide with his latest Single release of the same name, the Remedy beer is a finely produced real British beer using the best hops and malts available brewed with local British ingredients. The beer will be sold in 330ml bottles and is 4.5% ABV.

The beer will available at select bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as online through the dedicated site which launches next week at www.gottheremedy.com.

Professor Green commented on choosing the perfect recipe:
“I suppose a smart person would pick a beer that would sell very well, but with my music I’m quite selfish, I make music that I like. I don’t go in to the studio and go “what can I make that will sell x amount of copies?”  I’m just going to go with what my taste requirements….require!”

Discussing the album, vocalist / guitarist Justin Hawkins commented;

“’Hot Cakes’ has a nice raw feel to it like the first album had, with occasional luxurious moments akin to the second. We’re proud of the songs and we can’t wait for people to hear them. We’ve been playing some tracks for the album in tour, each time we play a new song it feels like a deep powerful thrust in a frenzied love ritual between us and our fans.  August 20th really will be a sweet release for all concerned.

We included the Radiohead cover because it has been a live favourite for many moons, and we wanted to release a definitive recording of our interpretation. Best of all, ‘Hot Cakes’ has got even more songs on it than what ‘Permission To Land’ and ‘One Way Ticket To Hell And Back had’. But not if you put them both together.”

The album is released via PIAS on 20th August.

Reebok Radio is a national pop-up music tour, featuring live performances from new and emerging talent as well as an online radio programme featuring exclusive content, artist access and interviews.

Reebok Radio will be recorded and streamed live on the second weekend of each month from an interactive, pop-up street level radio station. The Radio will be anchored Goldierocks who will present a 5 hour programme from each city .

Official Reebok Radio afterparties will be held after each show in Liverpool, Bristol, Glasgow and Leeds.

The band have just finished their UK tour which included dates with Forever The Sickest Kids and appearances at Slam Dunk festival.

The UK release of ‘Introduction’ will feature 12 album tracks with guest appearances from Cassadee Pope and BC Jean.
