Fickle Friends release new single ‘Brooklyn’

Fickle FriendsFickle Friends have released their new single ‘Brooklyn’ ahead of their November UK tour.

The single is the latest taster from their LA recording sessions with producer Mike Crossey (The 1975, Foals).

Speaking of writing ‘Brooklyn’, frontwoman Natti said: “Lyrically ‘Brooklyn’ reflects that summer and how I started dealing with my anxiety and constant worry that just seemed to follow me around…which was a completely alien concept at the time and something I never thought would affect me.The whole song is metaphorical and kind of talks about anxiety as someone you don’t understand of recognise, “You are someone else, it’s something I can’t define, you are not mine”. It’s probably the song that means the most to me because I year on I look back at how panicked I was by it all and now, although it’s something that affects me most days, I feel like I’ve got more of a handle on what’s going on in my head.”
