Glastonbury Festival is giving unsigned artist the chance to perform on one of the main stages at this year’s Festival.

The 2014 Emerging Talent Competition has launched and acts can enter for one week only from Monday 20th to Monday 27th January.

Entrants are welcome from any musical genre.

Once the entries are in, a panel of online music writers will compile a long list of 120 artists which will be whittled down to just 8 acts with judges including Glastonbury’s organiser.

The final eight acts will take to the stage for the last battle in April to decide the Festival slot winner.
