Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh awarded grant for The Yard

Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh has been awarded a grant to help improve and change lives within the local community through music.

The cafe will donate a $5,000 grant to The Yard, to provide music based play experiences for disabled children and young people.

Hard Rock International and its charitable arm, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, selected Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh out of over 200 Hard Rock properties across the world to receive the grant to support its local community.

The Yard provides a wide range of play experiences for disabled children and young people aged 0-25 with the grant from Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh enabling The Yard to provide more music based play experiences for its members.

Speaking of the grant, Partnerships Manager at The Yard, Anna Robinson said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received a grant from Hard Rock Heals, which will go to support our early-years’ service for 0-5 year olds with music therapy sessions to aide their development and communication. In addition we will also be able to provide a wide range of music based activities at our youth clubs for disabled teenagers and young adults.”
