Forever and a Day

By Becky Browning

This lively bunch of lads are a 5 piece Post hardcore/Pop Punk band from seaside town Bridlington. These guys have been around now two and a half years impressing the UK with their wild, yet mature and breath-taking shows.

This year, FEAAD took their tour ‘The Roads Ahead’ across the North of England promoting their second fresh and fun EP titled ‘Last Orders’, which is available to download for free at foreverandaday.bandcamp.com

Along with fantastic, professional and emotional support from their manager James Williams, promoter at East Coast Collective; These lads are going to hit the UK hard and fast in 2012 with another EP, plus more epic tours!

So that we can get a feel of what’s to come in 2012, we asked the guys some questions about ‘The Roads Ahead’ tour this year, no holding back now lads!

What’s with the band name?

Liam: The term Forever and a Day came from myself, being interested in sayings such as “Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder”. I love little life mottos, they’re just quirky and its interesting to see how anyone can relate to them. The original line-up, (before Tom Swainson) sat down and sifted through endless amounts of names before we came up with this. Forever and A Day just stuck and we kept it at that.

No limits or obstacles, who would you bring with you on tour next year if you could and why ?

Band: Anyone?? Wow, a few of us would have to say Liam Dafter, he’s from Bridlington too. That kid totally came out of his shell on ‘The Roads Ahead’ tour. There were too many incidents where he had us creasing and generally kept the vibe alive to be honest. Apart from him I think we would probably end up taking someone farfetched like Pingu or Scooby Doo!!

Best juicy moments of ‘The Roads Ahead’ tour 2011?

Band : Hmm, again probably the man, the one and only Liam Dafter. He was the humour throughout them ten days. He was stripping and using a public fountain as a Bidet in Sheffield!! Then in Newcastle, we crashed at Becky’s, Dafter is going sick and miming the entire of Chop Suey. He was by far the highlight. Hands down.

Any sneaky little suprises you’d like to disclose about touring in 2012?

FEAAD: All we can say is we WILL tour. We don’t know who with, or when, or how, but it will happen. We wanna get as many people as we can involved chatting to us at shows and hanging out. Making friends is way more fun than making money!
