LANY have released the music video for ‘yea, babe, no way’.

Shot at the end of June over two days, the band aimed to capture the Californian vibe after living there for the past eight months.

Speaking of the video release, frontman Paul Klein explained: “The goal was to capture the essence and vibe of California and – more specifically – the Westside: Venice, the Palisades, Topanga and Malibu. We’ve been living out here for the last 8 months working on music, and I think it’s pretty clear (and obvious) that our surroundings have directly influenced our sound.

“We filmed the video on three different mediums: a super high def camera, a 16 millimeter film camera, and an iPhone. I think the magic of the video is found in the layering of the three. It feels really dreamy to me.”

The video release comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming UK tour, launching from Glasgow’s King Tut’s on August 30th.
