Lewis Capaldi joins TRNSMT Festival main stage line-up

Following a triumphant 2017, Lewis Capaldi has been announced for TRNSMT Festival’s main stage.

The singer will take to the main stage on Sunday 8th July joining headliners The Killers and acts including Chvrches, Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires.

Since Lewis last stepped onto TRNSMT’s King Tuts stage in 2017, he’s gone on to become one of Scotland’s solo stars, releasing his debut EP featuring radio primed singles and selling out venues across the UK.

Returning to the festival, he’ll step onto the main stage with a charming set that’s guaranteed to see his expanding fan base grow evermore.

Speaking of the announcement Lewis said: “TRNSMT last year was the first UK festival I ever played and it exceeded all of my expectations. To get the opportunity to play a festival of that size so early on has helped me massively and I think it’s amazing that DF have been supporting so many local artists by giving them slots on the bill where that allows them to make the most impact. Playing last year was definitely one of my highlights of 2017 and I can’t wait to come back again this year on the Main Stage.”

Tier 2 tickets for the festival go on sale on February 1st at 9am.
