Live Review | Don Broco | Edinburgh Liquid Rooms

Don Broco arrived in Edinburgh for the only Scottish date of their ‘Automatic’ UK tour.

The date was the first show to sell out on their winter schedule, packing out the 800-capacity Liquid Rooms.

Despite an earlier start for the gig, the band and crowd partied from start to finish with a few brave crowd surfers and mini mosh pits during the night.

The set was packed nonstop with hit after hit from their ‘Thug Workout’ days through to their new hit album ‘Automatic’. By the second song, pints were thrown across the room, the crowd were jumping along and smiling as much as much as the charming band.

Throughout the night, the energy levels were enough to power the venue, with the band’s unbelievable stage presence with Mexican waves and sing-a-long moments to ensure the crowd were part of the show.

There is no messing around from the Broco boys, they are here to make sure you have a good time.

Stopping to sing happy birthday to one of their fans and dedicating ‘Thug Workout’ to another, the band seemed as appreciative as the fans for the night, as their smiles beamed as much as those in the crowd eagerly singing every word.

Vocally, frontman Rob Damiani commands the venue with ease with Matt Donnelly’s backing vocals completing the unique Don Broco sound.

With their non stop energy, catchy tunes and party beats, highlights in the set included ‘Whole Truth’, ‘Fancy Dress’, ‘Automatic’ and ‘Priorities’.

The night was one of the best live performances of the year so make sure you head down to this tour as it’s one not to be missed.
