Live Review | Veridian | Key Club Leeds

Following on from a busy year of touring and releasing their debut EP, ‘40826d’, Veridian joined The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on their UK leg of the ‘Don’t You Fake It’10-year anniversary tour.

Opening with ‘One Day’ to the packed out room, Veridian kicked their set off in style (as well as wearing very snazzy shirts) with clear fans in the audience, singing along to their heart’s content. The crowd were certainly starting to warm up as soon as Veridian had taken to the stage.

Playing a mixture of their tracks from their debut, such as ‘Follow’, Sleep a Little Better’ and ‘Headlights’, they had the crowd in the palm of their hands with everyone singing and clapping along, officially starting their Saturday night.

One lucky member of the crowd also received a birthday shout out from the band – what a way to start your birthday right?!

It was clear to see from looking around the room that Veridian had many established fans already and, after their set, it’s without a doubt that they will have left Leeds with many more.

With the crowd now rowdy and ready for Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Veridian certainly did not disappoint. With their melodic choruses and a memorable performance they captivated the audience and have had us hitting repeat and singing along for days on end since.

If you haven’t already listened to Veridian’s debut EP, “40826d” then I strongly recommend you add it to your playlist immediately!

We look forward to seeing what they have in store for us in 2018!
