JuNk comprises of 4 multi-talented guys, Jay, Jake, Sam & Russ, who’re currently performing a summer residency at Blackpool’s North Pier Theatre before embarking on a 3 month tour of their amazing show “And Then There Were Four”. This popularity is off the back of winning Sky 1’s “Don’t Stop Me Now”.

The show is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where the less intelligent of the humans survived. From the moment they came on stage, they had the audience captivated with their array of musical sounds made from, literally, junk. From the onset you know exactly who is the alpha male and who the runt of the group is.
The communication skills are a variety of grunts and broken speech. At various points throughout the show they break in to unexpected song, with fantastic vocals and hilarious dance moves. As well as this, the songs will be instantly recognised.

It’s an enthralling show with audience participation encapsulating all age groups from the very young to the more mature, but be warned if your participation isn’t up to scratch or at the right time, they will certainly let you know with their style of grunting.

Having spoken to the guys after one of their shows they said that try to vary each show to keep it fresh.

I would recommend this show for all age groups. It is that good I’ve seen it twice (2nd time wearing glow bands which didn’t feel out-of-place!) and have already got my tickets for the tour!

We saw junk at sandy balls, also twice, kids loved them and still talk about them 3 months on. Can’t wait to get tickets when they get down south.
