Birmingham trio Lycio have unveiled their new single ‘Saharan King’.

Mixed by Craig Davis and mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton (The Beatles, Coldplay), the single follows the band’s debut ‘Air Part 1’.

Speaking of the single, front woman Genny Mendez explained: “It’s really about how us as people have a tendency to completely abandon our emotions and detach ourselves. In this case it’s about someone else completely erasing years worth of emotions they had towards me. It’s also a reflection of my own sense of detachment to my actual surroundings. Definitely has multiple concepts between the lines.”
