National Citizen Service helps out young musicians

NCS-logoYoung talented unsigned musicians are making their mark on the industry with help from the National Citizen Service.

The National Citizen Service is an opportunity open to all 16 and 17 year olds across England.

It’s a three-week full-time programme, plus 30 hours involved in a community project.

Budding acoustic artist Ollie Greatrick is one of the musicians that the scheme has discovered.

Another star the NCS has nurtured is 20-year-old Jess Harwood who has written and sung her own songs since her early teens.
