NME Awards 2017 winners revealed

nmeThe winners of the 2017 NME Awards have been unveiled at a ceremony in London.

London’s Brixton Academy played host to the night which also featured live performances from Bastille, Pet Shop Boys, Wiley and Dua Lipa.

The night also saw a live performance from Bands 4 Refugees, a mixed line-up band brought together for one night only to raise awareness and funds for the ongoing work of grassroots organisation Help Refugees.

Christine and The Queens landed two awards on the night while Biffy Clyro were crowned Best British Band ahead of their UK festival appearances at Download and TRNSMT.
