One Direction have announced more details about their huge upcoming event ‘1D Day’.

1D Day will be a global event taking place on Saturday 23rd November between 7pm – 2am (GMT) which will allow fans to enter the band’s world through the seven hour live broadcast.

The show will include behind the scenes footage and exclusive plays of songs from the band’s upcoming album ‘Midnight Memories’ along with Guinness World Record attempts and special appearances from the likes of Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion and The Muppets.

Fans who have taken part in 1D Day challenges over the past few weeks will get the chance to spot their work and fans will be able to join in many ways from using the hashtag #1DDayLive to taking part in the official 1D Day quiz.

Some lucky fans will also get the chance to chat face-to-face with the guys with their special feature ‘One Big Drop In’ when the band will drop into the fans’ Google+ Hangout parties.

1D Day will be available in all countries and can be viewed live on YouTube here or Google+ here.

One Direction’s new album ‘Midnight Memories’ will be released on 25th November.
