2013 has been a very busy year for international superstars, One Direction.

Setting off their Take Me Home World Tour, the boys also released their doco-concert film, This Is Us along with, Best Song Ever as their film’s title track. With the tour coming to its end in Japan, the boys also released their latest single, Story of My Life, along with exciting news for who pre-ordered their third studio album from iTunes.

Diana is the first of three bonus tracks that will be released to fans who pre-order Midnight Memories on iTunes.

With the release of Best Song Ever and Story of My Life mirroring that of their earlier songs, Diana takes a different turn, giving One Direction a more mature sound. The song is said to reflect a worldwide reply to a fan’s letter, Diana was written for a fan who was unhappy with living her life. Taking an 80s vibe and dusting it over the track, this latest release showcases all the boys’ voices and the growth they’ve gone through in the last three years.

Unrecognisable as a One Direction track, yet laced with the typical 1D formula, Diana marks a new sound from the boys – I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the album.
