Camden Rocks 2016Set over no less than 20 different stages, Camden’s biggest night of the year is getting more incredible with some exciting emerging talent alongside old faces, as well as the weird and wonderful.

Returning for its fifth edition on Saturday 4th June,  this year’s line-up features over 200 bands.

On our radar this year are our new goth heroes Ashestoangels. Taking the reins from the recently departed Aiden, Bristol’s finest are defining our inner emo and unleashing their unwavering energy on to a Camden Rocks crowd. They have been plugging away for years now, but luckily for us they are getting the spotlight they so rightfully deserve.

Changing the pace are The Qemists who are making drum ‘n’ bass tolerable by blending it with some rock greatness. ‘Run You’ has been an absolute smash hit this year, the perfect soundtrack to a summer’s day.

Proving Camden Rocks provides a diverse range in artists is the addition of ska singer/songwriter Millie Manders. She will bring her humour, a reason to kick back, and her ballsy attitude to this year’s festival. You’ll leave with a skip in your step and a smile on your face. Critics are raving about her and we suggest you check out why.

Ultimate DIY alternatives As December Falls have been steadily plugging away for the last couple of years, building a solid fan base who will inevitably be armed and ready for a brilliant show. Their latest single ‘Don’t Say a Word’ has been clocking up a shed load of views online as well as previous release ‘Capture’. They’ve done it for themselves and are worthy of your support.

And lastly on our radar are modern day glam rockers Reckless Love. Ok so they aren’t ‘new’, but they are awesome. They remind us of an early Skidrow, the pinnacle of an era that will never die. What’s not to love about that?! They will be at the Electric Ballroom at 5.30pm.
