This weekend discover Eden Festival –  a garden of hidden delights in the fields of Raehills Meadows, near Moffat in the South West of Scotland.

Eden is an independently run boutique festival dedicated to the celebration of music, dance, colour and culture with a strong ethos on being ecologically sound and carbon friendly.

Eden Festival hosts 11 stages and takes place on the 13th-15th June. Each stage has something different to offer festival goers with an eclectic mix of music acts and events due to take place over the weekend.

Headline acts include, King Charles, Artful Dodger, Electric Swing Circus and Victorian Trout Conspiracy. Other musical treats on offer will be Bez’s Acid House, The Next Men, Mungo’s Hi-Fi (DJ set) and a special stand-up set from Howard Marks.

On the Devorgilla Open Air Stage, the age-defying Mr Motivator will be there to give revellers fire in their  bellies with a good workout! There will also be plentiful opportunity to get messy in the mass paint fight and to get your sweat on in the Dance-Off Arena.

The kids have lots to enjoy, with their very own Kids Procession on Sunday Funday, the Eden Olympics and all kinds of friendly workshops, circus acts and story times.

Meanwhile adults can get funky in the Furry Chillum Cocktail Bar, discover the Lost Disco and the after hours rum ‘n’ gin soaked nightclubs. Or if the music inspires you head along to Rabbie’s Tavern for some karaoke with Barry and a few pints of local hooch.

Don’t forget that the theme for this year’s Eden Festival is Creatures of the Carnival so bring your feathers, furs and sequins!
