Preview | EH6 Festival | Edinburgh

Edinburgh’s Leith will transform into a festival hub for one weekend as EH6 takes over town.

More than 100 bands will perform across 10 venues in Leith on Saturday October 21st and Sunday October 22nd.

The debut festival line-up will feature acts including Kyle Falconer Band, Gerry Cinnamon, The Rising Souls and Tijuana Bibles.

Alongside the music, the festival will feature art exhibitions and children’s entertainment spread across venues including The Biscuit Factory, Woodland Creatures, Leith Depot and Sketchy Beats.

Festival-goers can also enjoy a Scottish beer with Krafty Brew, Ferry Brewery and Alchemy while tucking into food from international street food vendors across Leith.

EH6 will also donate tickets to Dunedin Harbour Homeless Hostel in Leith, inviting their service users to enjoy the acts with free food and entertainment over the weekend.

Speaking of the debut festival, Michael Ward, EH6 Festival Director said: “It’s been a challenge to organise a scattered festival with so many acts. We started planning this in February and the first line-up was announced in March. I want to establish EH6 as a regular event in Scotland’s music calendar so we needed some big names to come onboard and we have been overwhelmed by the support from acts and the community in Leith.”

Ticket prices start at £15 for students or full price £22.50 (+ booking fee) for a Sunday pass with a range of options including day passes (kids go free) and full weekend VIP passes. A full range of ticket options are available via Skiddle.
