Leith Dockers Club will host Hit The Road’s first gig of 2016 with a triple band bill.

Managed by the Scottish Music Centre, the gig is part of the national youth music touring project which provides young musicians living in Scotland with the opportunity to learn about the live industry before embarking on a tour.

Acting as a launch pad for acts including Model Aeroplanes, KLOE, Man of Moon and Indigo Velvet, the tour will arrive in Edinburgh on August 18th.

Headliners for the show will be Edinburgh-based indie rockers SKJØR who will step up to the stage following the release of their debut EP ‘Nature’, alongside recent support slots with acts including Lisbon and Teleman.

Joining them on the night are indie pop five-piece November Lights and pop rockers Five Cousins.
