Indie rockers Sisteray will headline Henry’s Cellar Bar in Edinburgh ahead of the release of their new recording project.
The band will headline the intimate Edinburgh venue on Friday 10th March ahead of the release of ’15 Minutes’.
Due out on April 14th via Vallance Records, the release takes influence from the famous Andy Warhol quote “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”
Speaking of the release, the band explain: “Now more than ever, people seem to be given 15 minutes and 15 minutes only. It’s not an album and it’s not a single. It’s simply a statement about the times we are living in.”
Combining their love for bands such as The Smiths and The Clash while taking influence from contemporary acts including Slaves and Sleaford Mods, the band’s latest project portrays their blend of indie-punk rock and was recorded by Rory Attwell at Lightship 95.
Arriving in Edinburgh for their only Scottish show of their UK stint, support will come from Headshrinker and Mondegreen.
Tickets for the show are available for £4 in advance or £6 on the door for the 18+ gig.
