Retro Culture have announced the release of their debut EP ‘Wonderland on the Radio’.

Due out on May 23rd, the EP features the band’s recent single release ‘Heart Attack’ which featured as one of our Tracks of the Day.

To celebrate EP release, Retro Culture have also unveiled a new track ‘Bad Romance’:

Speaking of the single, frontman Matt Connelly said: “‘Bad Romance’ almost feels like a throwback to some of the earlier stuff we used to write and that 80s sound we love. It’s built on synth lines and arpeggiated bass, but it was kind of a happy accident. Philly sent me the synth riff one morning whilst I was playing around with a voice live touch. I had this weird digital harmony effect going and as I sat there singing over this synth loop I remember thinking ‘is this too much?’ I was just mucking around really, but I sent it to Philiy and he loved it so we kept on going. By the end of the day we had the song and it had turned into what is probably one of the more personal songs we have written to date.”
