Review | Habitats | Jungles EP

HabitatsSouth coast four-piece Habitats have released their tropically infused EP ‘Jungles’.

Recorded in Hudson at the Waterfront Studios, the band released their latest EP on 12th February via Decibel Collective.

From EP opener ‘Boogie Waltzer’ through to closing track ‘Jungles’, the band showcase their tropical indie blend with ease as each track oozes exotic beats and contagious rhythms.

With elements of fellow indie bands Circa Waves and Bombay Bicycle Club throughout, they manage to maintain the key indie elements while adding an extra layer with their tropical groove.

All tracks blend together for a fairly easy listen, however the band could have added a little more variety into the mix to break up the EP.

The five-track release from the Hampshire four-piece is a great summer mix. It’s ready and waiting to become your road trip soundtrack so get ready to nail your drumming skills on the steering wheel!
