Review | The Hunna | Glasgow Garage

The Hunna headlined Glasgow’s Garage Attic on their debut UK headline tour.

Despite forming just seven months ago and with only three single releases behind them, The Hunna had sold out the majority of their UK tour before hitting the road last month.

The demand was so high that the band announced additional tour dates in May to ensure the ‘Hunna Squad’ had a chance to catch them live.

Stepping onto the small stage at Glasgow’s Garage, there was no waiting around from the London four-piece as they oozed high energy from start to finish.

It didn’t take to get the crowd involved as by the second song the floor was bouncing with both the crowd and band rocking out, prepared to get the party started.

The night gave the band the chance to showcase new material from their forthcoming album release alongside their previous singles, with set highlights including ‘We Could Be‘ and ‘Bonfire‘.

Watching The Hunna command the venue and showcase a range of promising tracks, it was one of those special moments being one of the first to catch the band who everyone will undoubtedly be hearing a lot more of in the future.

With a strong set, portraying hints of fellow indie rockers Circa Waves and The 1975, we can’t wait to get our hands on their new album release which may become the soundtrack to many summers across the UK.

Judging by the reaction on the night and the strength of the show, it won’t be long before the second batch of tour dates sell out and much larger venues await the London lads.
