Former Teddy frontman Tom Falle has unveiled his new project RHUMBA CLUB.

Joined by Matt Chan and Pete Thomson, Rhumba Club unveiled their retro-pop synth-soaked sound with their debut single ‘Reunion’.

Speaking of the track, Tom explained: “‘Reunion’ is about an uncomfortable meet up of a former gay couple, 5 years later. I framed it with references to late 80s pop ballads to give a sense of romantic haziness and naïvety, but the sarcastic overtones in the lyrics betray a certain bitterness beneath the nostalgia.”

To celebrate his single release, Tom will host a night at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club on June 16th presenting the ‘perfect cocktail of retro-pop, queer performance art and disco’, the night will feature a live set from Rhumba Club alongside a DJ set from Private Agenda with host Phoenix Fagbutt.
