The Scottish Alternative Music Awards has announced a new music festival for Paisley.

Alongside live showcases and in-store performances, the two-day event will include workshops and industry seminars.

Taking place on Friday 2nd March and Saturday 3rd March, the festival will be split across Paisley with venues including the Arts Centre and record shop Feel The Groove.

The first act for the festival has also been announced as Paisley natives The Vegan Leather who will host an exclusive workshop including a lesson in songwriting.

The full festival line-up will be unveiled throughout January with initial tickets on sale now via the official SAMA website.
