Single Review | Newton Faulkner | Indecisive

NewtonNewton Faulkner, the acoustic guitar maestro, is back with new single ‘Indecisive’ taken from his latest record Studio Zoo.

Newton’s voice is stronger than ever and seems to improve with every record and live event.

Mr Faulkner is the leader of the gentleman movement. He’s one of those guys that always seem to have a smile on his face on stage playing his music.

There isn’t that feel good feeling with the new single which adds a different aspect to his repertoire.

‘Indecisive’ starts off with his usual tapping of the guitar along with vocals and a gentle rhythm, there seems to be a different edge to this talented individual.

“Now you can die from a broken heart where breathing in and out gets hard” is a sentence that repeats on this track, that feels heartfelt and real.

Newton is going for a darker style with the lyrics, a moodier version to what has been on offer in the past. The guitar play is beautiful his tone of vocal is effortless there are times which provides a somewhat catchy vibe to it, ‘Indecisive’ is a grower.

Check out Newton on his UK/Ireland tour which starts off on the 9th February in Belfast, Limelight and the release of this single 30th December 2013.
