Music lovers who enjoy songs that fit into the categories of either Pop Punk, Screamo or Soft Rock would certainly not be disappointed by a track from Hey Alaska titled We Are Your Saviours.
It is a nicely up-tempo track and has the ability to have listener’s bopping along, as the song gets in to its full flow. The lyrics are catchy on the chorus and it has a simple tune, which means it would be popular at live venues for singing along with.
Although the track seems to fall out of a flow near the middle of the song as it comes to the bridge, it quickly comes back to the chorus that is chanted, bringing listeners back into the song as it prompts them to join in too.
Vocals on the track sound good, and raspy growls that add some ‘spice’ when thrown in to the mix makes the song more of an interesting listen and would appeal to heavier Rock music fans.
