Slam Dunk Festival 2016 | Leeds Preview

Slam Dunk Festival 2016Slam Dunk Festival will return to Leeds for its tenth edition on May 28th.

Headliners Panic! At The Disco will take to the main stage marking ten years since the release of their debut album ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’. Fans of their old material will be treated to a few of those top tracks alongside tracks from their recent album ‘Death of a Bachelor’ released in January.

Speaking of their headline slot, frontman Brendon Urie said: “It’s awesome, it’s fucking cool, and I’m very excited. We haven’t actually played it before, but we have friends who have, and have heard it’s awesome! And sure, there’s a little bit of pressure, I’m not gonna lie!”

Joining Panic! At The Disco on the line-up are bands including New Found Glory, Mayday Parade, Young Guns, Hit The Lights, Of Mice and Men, Dead!, Real Friends, Set Your Goals The Starting Line and Moose Blood.

Taking place across Leeds City Centre, the seven stages will feature more than 50 acts from acoustic to metalcore.

Whether you want to take a break to chill at Baa Bar or get ready to rock at Leeds Beckett Student Union, the award-winning festival looks set for another smashing year.
