Stereophonics announce exclusive London gigs

Sterephonics have announced two special unique shows in London this coming October.

Following their performances at V Festival last weekend, the band come with this announcement to celebrate the re-issues of their first two albums; 1997’s ‘Word Gets Around’ and 1999’s ‘Performance and Cocktails’.

The band will be performing the albums in full, alongside the B-sides for each album, at the HMV Apollo on Sunday October 17th & Monday October 18th.

Frontman Kelly Jones explains the choice;

It’s over ten years since the first two albums were released. Listening back to them and all the b-sides and live tracks brought back a lot of memories. It’s taken over a year to find and compile all the tracks, pictures and notebooks, Stuart’s passing in June has made the whole experience more poignant. To celebrate the albums we will be playing two nights at Hammersmith Apollo playing every track and a selection of B-sides, something we have never done in a live experience. There’s a lot to learn but it’s gonna be rocking!”

Sunday October 17th will be ‘Word Gets Around’ + B-sides
Monday October 18th will be ‘Performance And Cocktails’ + B-sides

Tickets to these exclusive one-off gigs will be available this Friday (August 27th) at 9am and will be available by clicking here.
