T in the Park 2014: Sunday highlights

There were rather a lot of bleary eyed festival-goers on the final day at T in the Park, but the sun was out and beating down on Balado.

Bastille

It didn’t take long into Bastille’s set for the crowd to dance along in the sunshine. And from that moment on, the crowd shouted each line back and adhered to frontman Dan’s every instruction. From making the band’s triangle logo with their fingers during ‘The Draw‘ to bringing out their dance moves during ‘Of The Night’.

Disclosure

When watching Disclosure, it was extremely impressive how two guys can create such a sound and party tunes without the need to simply stand behind a DJ deck. They produced tune after tune on the night and the crowd were certainly enjoying themselves, particularly during tracks including ‘White Noise‘ and ‘Live F for You’.

Arctic Monkeys

They’ve provided the soundtrack to festivals for many years and with that experience, the band look completely at ease in front of the 80,000 crowd. And to give it that true festival feeling, within 30 seconds of the band appearing on stage performing ‘Do I Wanna Know‘, flares were lit across the sky and pints thrown in the air as the crowd danced the night away.
