The Wombats are going to release their comeback single ‘Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)’ on September 27th.

The single has been produced by Eric Valentine (Queens Of The Stone Age and Lostprophets).

The band are using the single to leave the old songs behind as Drummer Dan Haggis explained;

“We’ve approached this album slightly differently from the last. Whereas the first album was practically recorded live with a few overdubs, this time round we’ve had the time to really play with the sonics.”

The album has yet to be titled and there is no confirmed date for it’s release, but it seems the new single will be a clue for things to come in the future from The Wombats.
