The Wombats have unveiled their new single ‘Lemon To A Knife Fight’.

Premiering as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on BBC Radio 1, the track is the first single from their new album ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’.

Due out on February 9th via Kobalt Music Recordings, the album was created over long distance writing sessions and two-week studio sessions in Oslo.

Speaking of the single, frontman Matthew ‘Murph’ Murphy explained: “‘Lemon to a Knife Fight’ came around after my wife and I had a huge argument on Mulholland Drive. I’d been watching tons of David Lynch too, the song just kind of fell out of me.”

Following the album news, the band are soon to announce UK tour dates to coincide with the release.
