What happens when a group of close friends decide to make music together?

Meet GREY \ WATER, a culmination of friends blending together their influences to create a charming indie pop blend.

Up until now, the Toronto group has worked on a DIY approach, but are currently recording new material at Catherine North Studios working on their second EP.

Speaking of the single, Charlotte Grace Victoria explained: “As a band we wanted to create a song that challenged us to progress and enabled us to delve into a variety of creative processes. With Jimmy we made it our goal to create an indie pop song that included elements that were still true to our sound. I feel as though the story of Jimmy and his significant other reflects the same idea. On the surface, there is a couple in the midst of honeymoon love, yet along with that, there is an undertone of the pressure to change and evolve into something new.”

There is something about ‘Jimmy’ that is irresistible. Whether that’s Charlotte’s charming vocals, the feel-good pop injection, the bouncing synth or the gritty guitar solo, you’re bound to be won over by GREY \ WATER.
