Track of the Day | Prides – Away With The Night

PridesPrides have released their new single ‘Away With The Night’.

Recently re-emerging as a two-piece with a re-energised sound, the band will bring in a rotation of Glasgow musicians to their live shows while working with former band member and long-term producer Lewis Gardiner.

Speaking of the new single, Stewart Brock explained: “It’s here! ‘Away With the Night’ is a song that Callum started on a flight into New York, and has lived in our back pockets for a while now. It was the first track we knew had to go on this new album, and we’re really excited to finally let you hear it!

“Lyrically it’s a track I wrote as a response to a certain someone, who put a lot of expectation onto what/where we were, and ended up writing a song about me. This is my version of events.”

The new single comes ahead of the band’s March dates in Birmingham, London and Manchester.

‘Away With The Night’ is another feel-good indie pop gem from the duo, ready to get you grooving into the night.
