The award ceremony will return to London’s O2 Academy Brixton on February 15th 2017.

Music fans can now cast their votes on who they would like to see shortlisted for the categories including Best British Band, Best New Artist and Best Festival Headliner.

For those looking to head to the ceremony, early bird tickets are now on sale until December 8th priced at just £24.99!

Speaking of the awards, NME editor-in-chief Mike Williams said: “The NME Awards is always the most thrilling night in the music calendar, with amazing live performances, stellar guests and the odd bit of bad behaviour, all from within the temple of live music that is O2 Academy Brixton. Last year’s event closed with a jaw-dropping performance from Coldplay, who picked up the Godlike Genius award, and not a table un-danced on. Can we top it this year? Of course we can – The VO5 NME Awards 2017 will be the best yet.”

Voting for the awards is now open via https://awards.nme.com.
