Aaron Shanley announces UK debut tour and free download!

Following an extensive tour of the USA and constant gigging all over his native Ireland, Aaron Shanley makes his UK debut this autumn, with his first album “Let The Sun In” and his first set of live dates in England.

Showcasing a range of different genre influences, Aaron fuses the epic musical beauty of alternative rock bands like Goo Goo Dolls and Jimmy Eat World with the catchy folk-pop hooks of contemporary singer-songwriters like Alan Pownall and Jay Jay Pistolet.

The 20-year-old musician has already won the heart of BBC 6Music’s Tom Robinson, and earlier this year was awarded the prestigious Katherine Brick Award for Young Songwriter of the Year via the international Belfast Nashville Songwriters’ Festival.

Aaron’s debut album “Let The Sun In” is set for release through Love Gum Records on October 25th, with a London launch at The Regal Room on October 28th. Prior to this, Aaron heads out on a solo acoustic tour of the UK.

The tour dates are as follows;

September:
Thursday 30th BELFAST, No Alibis Bookstore

October:
Tuesday 5th LONDON, The Old Queen’s Head
Wednesday 6th BRISTOL, The Canteen
Thursday 7th IPSWICH, The Blue Room
Friday 8th CAMBRIDGE, CB2 Bistro
Saturday 9th LONDON, Proud Gallery

Aaron is also currently giving away a free MP3 track “Coming Down”, taken from the new album, which is available via SoundCloud by clicking here.
