22-year-old French producer and record label owner Green Valdener is one to watch, with his beautifully elegant melancholic yet complex beats.

Releasing two gorgeous EPs with SnK’s Sarah Lugassy, hailing from the same French town in Toulouse, Lugassy’s luscious vocals add depth and soul to these emotional and intense songs.

Valdener is heavily influenced by UK producers (Burial), Americans (Telefon Tel Aviv) and Germans (Moderat, Robot Koch). There’s a hint of Groove Armada, Zero 7 and of course his French compatriots Air.
