Benjamin Francis Leftwich has announced the release of his new album ‘After The Rain’, alongside a headline UK tour this spring.
Due out on August 19th via Dirty Hit, the album was produced by Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Money).
Following the release of his 2011’s debut ‘Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm’, Ben’s life was thrown into an unexpected path when he tragically lost his father – his source of inspiration.
In an attempt to work on new material while caring for his father, Ben invited producers to his hometown but discovered it was time for a break: “I just knew that I needed to not do this for a while. For me, I just needed to live outside of music.”
Now, five years after the debut release, Ben has revealed the first single from his new album ‘Tilikum’.
Alongside the album announcement and new single, Ben will tour the UK in Spring.
