Blink 182 are currently working on their forthcoming album.

Frontman Mark Hoppus announced via Twitter that the band shall not be touring until the new album is complete, but fans do not have to worry as rumour has it the release will surface next year.

The album, which is the follow-up to 2003’s self-titled album, is the bands current ‘priority #1’ according to Hoppus.

Earlier in the year, Mark Hoppus also explained that the bands schedule all depends on how fast the new album nears completion.

If rumours are true, depending on the albums progress the band are set to take on the UK around summer 2011.
