Having released their new EP, ‘Water’ on 21st January, Blood Red Shoes share accompanying video with fans for their new track ‘Red River’.
As the video makes use of a combination of live and on-the-road footage displaying the band’s recent tour across Russia, Blood Red Shoes have said of the trip:
“It was our first time over and was kind of insane, for many reasons. From the minute we landed and had a four-hour fight with customs to get our gear into the country, to the last night when we made a 4am pilgrimage to Red Square, it was one hell of an experience. A crazy and beautiful country with crazy and beautiful people, one of the full on crowds we’ve ever had on our first trip to a country”
‘Water’ is set to be released via V2, on 10” vinyl (limited to 500 copies) and download on 21st January. Three brand new songs are included within the EP, all recorded in Dallas, TX this October by John Congleton (The Roots/The Walkmen/Explosions In The Sky).
Blood Red Shoes are also gearing up for a headline performance at the 02 Empire in Shepherd’s Bush on January 22nd, with supports provided by Rolo Tomassi and Wet Nuns. Set to be on sale for this night are the remaining 100 copies of the limited ‘Water’ 10”, giving fans the opportunity to bag themselves a vinyl while they can.
