Blur have announced they will perform intimate UK shows ahead of their Olympic Concert performance this August.

The band have released information for 5 UK dates.

The full dates are as follows:

August:
1st MARGATE, Winter Gardens
5th WOLVERHAMPTON, Civic Hall
6th WOLVERHAMPTON, Civic Hall
7th PLYMOUTH, Pavilions

The band will then perform at the Olympics Games 2012 closing ceremony at London’s Hyde park on August 12th.
